"Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who shall stand in his holy place?
"He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
"He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."
~Psalms 24:3-5
"God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation..Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things..Cry out and shout..for great is the Holy One of Israel" 2 Nephi 22: 2, 5-6

"I Have a Question"
"When a person follows this divine formula, the results are certain: He will gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon. God cannot and does not lie, and his promises made through his prophets are sure.
"Therefore, any person who claims to have followed the various requirements but says he has not gained a testimony should check to see which step he has not followed faithfully or completely:
"1. He should read and ponder the Book of Mormon--all of it.
"2. He should remember the methods God has used in working with the peoples of both the Book of Mormon and the Bible--and ponder these things in his heart.
"3. He should put himself in a frame of mind where he would be willing to accept (receive) all of 'these things'--the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the way God works with men.
"4. 'With a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ,' he should ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ 'if these things are not true.'
"5. He should be able to recognize the promptings and feelings which will be evidences to him of the truth of 'these things' (including the Book of Mormon) as they are made manifest unto him 'by the power of the Holy Ghost.'"

A Virtuous Woman
Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
She seeketh wool; and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.
She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, praiseth her.
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
Proverbs 31: 10-13, 20, 22-28, 30-31

"We must begin by becoming one within ourselves. We are dual beings of flesh and spirit, and we sometimes feel out of harmony or in conflict...As we endeavor day by day and week by week to follow the path of Christ, our spirit asserts it's pre-eminence, the battle within subsides, and temptations cease to trouble. There is greater and greater harmony between the spiritual and the physical until our physical bodies are transformed...to 'instruments of righteousness unto God.'."

A Woman's Heart
(Tyler Castleton/Staci Peters)
Morning comes and finds her on her knees
The Spirit speaks and she is listening
She offers everything her soul can give
To make a difference through the life she lives
Her faith holds her family close
She understands what matters most
And her gentle touch is where love starts
That's the way of a woman's heart
She's a keeper of the vision
She's a beacon in the night
A teacher and defender of the truth
And everything she touches bears the traces of her light
She's faithful to
What God Himself would do
She's a friend to the lonely and the lost
Every day another bridge to cross
Her hands of mercy know the healer's art
That's the way of a woman's heart
Evening comes and finds her on her knees
She softly speaks and He is listening
With sweet assurance that she's done her part
She weeps
In His peace
And that's the way of a woman's heart
